Academic Session

The academic session commences from the months of July every year soon after the conclusion of the admission process to the first year classes.
During admission a candidate of a particular subject shall have to pay the tuition fees for 6 months. This money is not refundable. In the case of failure to pay the next installment within 3 months, his/ her name shall be struck off from the student attendance register. A defaulting student shall have to take readmission in the same class after the payment of fined money.
So far as change of subject is concerned a student shall be allowed to change a subject for once only and also within the last date fixed for that purpose by the University authorities.
An attendance record of 75% is a must for all students for sitting in Selection Tests before the form fill up for relevant final examination held by the affiliating university.
A student having an attendance record below 75% and above 60% shall be termed as Non – collegiate and those below 60% as Dis- collegiate. In the latter case University rules shall be applicable.
Absence from regular classes for 15 days at a stretch without prior information shall compel the college authorities to strike off the name of a particular student from the register.
It is compulsory for all honours and pass course students to be present for at least 60% classes during the first 15 days following the commencement of regular classes.

Examination Held

Unit Test: September of every academic year. Selection test: January to March every academic year. B.A/B.Sc Part III , Part II , Part I Final Examination conducted by the West Be4mgal State4 University from the month of onwards.
